This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents not to pass any detention order against the petitioner's son, namely, Maya, S/o Sudalaikannu without due process of law by way of considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.07.2022.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that against the petitioner's son, namely, Maya detention order was passed by the District Collector and District Magistrate, Thoothukudi District, Thoothukudi, in H.S.(M)Confdl.No.159 of 2022 dated 02.08.2022.
