For Respondent : Mr.A.Robinson, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Antcipatory bail in Crime No.189 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent. 2.The petitioner is figuring as A1 in Crime No.189 of 2019 registered on the file of the respondent Police for the offences under Section 506(1) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

3.When the case was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it is only the second accused who had indulged in acts of eve teasing and that the petitioner has nothing to do with the same. Because he happened to be the friend of the second accused and was with him, he also came to be implicated.

CRL OP(MD). No.11131 of 2019 4.The petitioner's counsel states that he has respect for womanhood and he did not and would not indulge in any such acts. The petitioner is not having any previous case.

5.Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchendur and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Scrupulously.

6.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
