For Respondent : Mr. B. Thanga Aravindh, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 198 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 147, 448, 294(b), 427 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.198 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that before filing this petition on 07.07.2022, the petitioner along with two other accused moved anticipatory bail petition in Crl.M.P(MD).No.3428 of 2022 before the Principal Sessions Judge, Thoothukudi and the same was allowed. But, without noting the same on 02.08.2022 this petition has been filed, which is clear abuse of process of Court. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have not informed about the above said facts. 4.This sort of attitude are frequently noticed by this Court in many such cases. Since anticipatory bail has already been granted by the Court below, the same relief sought for by the petitioners is required to be condemned and hence, the Criminal Original Petition is liable to be dismissed.
