ORDER

The petitioners have approached this Court that the respondent Police is harassing them unnecessarily under the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the second petitioner's son is the first accused in Crime No.110 of 2025 and the first petitioner's son is the ninth accused in Crime No.110 of 2025, which has been registered on the file of the Ammayanaickanur Police Station for the offence punishable under Sections 191(2), 295(b), 115(2), 127(2) and 351(2) of BNS and Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) and 3(2)(va) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989 on 02.06.2025. The accused Nos.1 and 2 in Crime No.110 of 2025 were absconding. Therefore, they went in search of the accused in Crime No.110 of 2025. They are not harassing the petitioners.

3. Recording the said submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the petitioners to co-operate for investigation by the respondent Police in Crime No.110 of 2025 by furnishing the details about the absconding accused in Crime No.110 of 2025. 25.06.2025 Index : Yes / No.
