Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the Respondent to issue patta to the petitioner for the petitioner's land bearing survey No. 108/6 Plot Nos. 16, 17 & 18 situated at Kottaimedu, Kamuthi, Ramanathapuram District, by considering her representation dated 06.10.2016. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed directing the respondent to issue patta to the petitioner for the petitioner's land bearing survey No. 108/6, Plot Nos. 16 17 & 18 situated at Kottaimedu, Kamuthi, Ramanathapuram District by considering her representation dated 06.10.2016.

2.According to the petitioner, she purchased a land situated at Kottaimedu, Kamuthi, Ramanathapuram District, on 19.03.2010, through a registered sale deed. Subsequently, on 06.10.2016, she submitted an application before the respondent for issuance of patta. Sofar, no order has been passed. Hence, she has filed the present writ petition.

3.Heard the learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondent, who would submit, on instructions that the petitioner's application would be considered by the respondent. 4.In view of the above submission, the respondent/Tahsildar is directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 06.10.2016, after giving an opportunity to the petitioner as well as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

rival claimants, if any, and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
