ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction, directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A4/2582/2016 dated 29.07.2016 on merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, he claims to be a Pastor in Thirantha Vedaagama Devasabai in Sy.No.1052, Arasu Colony, Karur. Earlier, the first respondent/District Collector passed an order dated 01.09.2008 classifying an extent of 0.08.0 hectares of land as Christian Graveyard. Now, the petitioner filed an application before the second respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Karur to survey and measure the above area, in the Grievance Day. Inturn, the second respondent also by way of a proceedings, dated 15.05.2008, directed the third respondent to take action as per the petitioner's application. Sofar, no action has been taken. 3.Heard Mr.R.Anandharaj, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the third respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application.

4.In the above circumstances, the third respondent/Tahsildar, Manmangalam taluk, Karur District is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and measure the property, as directed by the second respondent, on 29.07.2016, with the help of the surveyor with reference to the revenue documents. The above exercise should be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
