This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to file charge sheet in Crime No.292 of 2017 within a time frame.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the second respondent police closed the case in crime No.292 of 2017 by referring the case as "Mistake of Fact" and filed the same before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.6, Madurai. He would further submit that RCS notice has also been served to the petitioner.
