For Respondent : Mr.R.Erottuchamy, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Section 438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 2110 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 379 of IPC r/w. Section 21(1) of Mines and Minerals(Development and Regulation) Act, 1957, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of one unit of river sand. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of one unit of river sand. He would also submit that one previous case is pending against the petitioner. 4.In view of the order passed in Crl.O.P.No.13334 of 2020 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.13850 of 2020 etc., batch, dated 03.09.2020 by the Principal Bench of this Court at Madras, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
