ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct 'Aadalum Paadalum' dance programme on 10.11.2016 from 8.00 p.m., to 12.00 p.m., in pursuant to the 'Pongal Vizha' of Arulmigu Kabaleeswari Amman Thirukoil, situated at Madakulam Village, Madurai District., by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 04.11.2016.

2. Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation given by the petitioner, dated 04.11.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law forthwith.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
