ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the first and second respondents to give police protection to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the official respondents. Considering the nature of the order going to be passed, notice to the private respondents herein is dispensed with.

3. According to the petitioner, the third respondent earlier married the fourth respondent and suppressing the said fact, once again married the petitioner's daughter. The third respondent deserted the petitioner's daughter and living with the fourth respondent. Now the third and fourth respondents are threatening the petitioner and his daughter and criminally intimidated them. Hence, he has made a complaint to the second respondent seeking https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

protection but the same was not considered. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner is pending and the second respondent police is conducting enquiry. The petitioner without appearing for the enquiry, has filed the present petition.

5. Considering the fact that the enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner is pending, the second respondent is directed to proceed with the enquiry and the petitioner is also directed to appear before the respondent police and cooperate with the enquiry.

6. With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
