ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the third respondent to grant patta in respect of the property situated in Survey Nos.10/1, 10/2, 10/3, 10/4, 10/5, Yettaiathalli Village, Thoothukudi Circle, Nangudi Region, Arasarkulam Firka, Aranthangi Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering his representation dated 20.10.2022. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.J.I.Nithin Kaanth, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the petitioner, he has submitted series of
representations before the respondents seeking issuance of patta in respect of the property situated in the above said survey numbers. However, the same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the subject property situated in Aranthangi Taluk falls within the jurisdiction of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pudukottai.
5.A perusal of the records would indicate that the petitioner has not given any details. The representation allegedly submitted by the petitioner on 03.12.2021. However, the said representation has not been included in the typed set of papers. From the averments found in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it is seen that the petitioner seeks issuance of patta in respect of the property situated in the above said survey numbers. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation giving full details before the Tahsildar, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai, within a period of two weeks from the
date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the fresh representation, the Tahsildar, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai, shall consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits within a further period of eight weeks. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
