O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein to initiate action for statutory violations committed by the 5th respondent based on the representation of the petitioner dated 24.06.2024 in accordance with law providing reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and all other persons, if any interested in the enquiry.
2. It is the case of the writ petitioner that the 5th respondent is running a Coconut Coir Industry without any license. In this regard, the petitioner has also made a representation on 24.06.2024 to the respondents 1 to 4 seeking to take 2/4
action against the 5th respondent. Since the same was not considered by the respondents 1 to 4, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the 5th respondent would submit that he has got all the license in his favour and he is ready to face any enquiry to be conducted by the Executive Officer.
4. Considering the said submissions, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the 4th respondent to conduct an enquiry on the representation of the petitioner dated 24.06.2024, after giving notice to the petitioner and the 5th respondent and thereafter, the 4th respondent shall pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the petitioner as well as to the 5th respondent, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
