Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent herein to issue Joint Patta in the petitioner's name and his brother namely C.Sathish Kumar in respect of their landed property comprised in Old No.412B/10 A1A1 and New Survey No.1323/1 to an extent of 30.32 Sq.Mt. classified as Natham Poramboke at Mela Mandhai Street, Batlagundu, Dindigul District by considering his applications, dated 28.05.2016 and 12.07.2016 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 2.By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The petitioner claims to be residing in old Survey No.412B/10 and New Survey No.1323/1 and he filed an application before the second respondent to grant house site patta to him. But the second respondent did not take any action so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

4.In the above circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 12.07.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to all the parties concerned, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
