This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 17.08.2021 regarding refixation of his seniority in the cadre of Bill Collector right from his original date of joining ie., 17.02.1997, within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.S.Visvalingam, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.K.Manikkam, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case in the affidavit or the representation of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction: 3.1.The respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.08.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
