The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to issue a direction to the respondents to grant adequate protection to the petitioner's life and liberty and property for fencing his property situated in Survey No.535 in Kuppuchipalayam Village, Karur District.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation to the respondents, dated 25.08.2016 for providing police protection to fence his property, based on the decree passed in O.S.No.804 of 2002, on the file of the Additional District Munsif, Karur. Since, it was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 4.Considering the prayer sought for in this writ petition and the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.08.2016 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the necessary parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
