PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take necessary action against the third respondent on the basis of this petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2022 within the time stipulated by this Court.

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to take necessary action against the third respondent on the basis of his representation, dated 21.01.2022.

2. Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the third respondent/Inspector of Police, Palanichetti Police Station, Theni District, abused and harassed the petitioner and also took the cell phone of the petitioner and returned the same only after making a demand. Thereafter, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents 1 and 2 and requested them to take immediate action against the third respondent.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that case and case in counter are given to 2/4

the third respondent/Inspector of Police, in which, she registered the case in both the case and case in counter and the complaint is given falsely so far. The petitioner has also gave a complaint against the third respondent to the second respondent.

5. In view of the above, the second respondent police is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.07.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
