It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent that subsequent to the issuance of the impugned enquiry notices, a surcharge order has been passed on 04.10.2023 and in view of the same, this writ petition has now become infructuous.

2. After recording the said fact, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the surcharge order, dated 04.10.2023, if he so desires, in the manner known to him under law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
