O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent No.2 police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the police have filed criminal cases against the petitioner in Crime No.43 of 2023 for the offences under Sections 457 and 380 IPC and Crime No.16 of 2023 for the offences under Sections 457, 380 and 511 IPC and that the petitioner has obtained the bail, however the respondent police have been calling the petitioner frequently and making him to wait in the police station and have been asking him to confess that he has committed other offences and are harassing the petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that the respondent police have never harassed the petitioner and never insisted him to confess that he has committed other offences. 4.Recording the rival submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the respondent 2/4

police are directed to follow the procedure scrupulously, if the petitioner is required for an enquiry in any of the case pending before them. 5.With the above direction, this Petition is closed.
