Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 03.11.2016 and accept the petitioner's offline application for Transfer Cum re-admission and consequently direct the second and & third respondents to allow the petitioner to attend the fifth semester examination for Mechanical Engineering through the petitioner's Register No.620514114901 the exam will start from 08.11.2016 and value the petitioner's answer papers and publish the result.

ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2.
2.According to the petitioner, after completion of Diploma course, he directly joined second year in B.E Mechanical Engineering course in Srilakshmi Ammal Engineering College at Selaiyur, Chennai and completed 3rd and 4th semester exams, thereafter discontinued his studies in the year 2014 and he sent his transfer cum re-admission https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
application to the first respondent through offline. In the mean time, he joined in the third respondent college in the 5th semester. The third respondent-college also sent a letter to the first respondent on 10.09.2016 to accept the petitioner's offline application for transfer cum re-admission application and the petitioner also sent another representation to first respondent. But the first respondent did not take any action so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.
3.Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the petitioner's application is pending and the authority will consider his application expeditiously.
4.In the above circumstances, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application for transfer cum re-admission, dated 03.11.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
