Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issue a writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to waive the loan amount under AJL Nos. 581 and 674 availed by the petitioners by extending the benefit as per G.O. (MS).50 dated 23.05.2016 and G.O.(MS) No. 59 Co-operation food and consumer protection (CC1) department dated 28.06.2016 based on the petitioners' representations dated 03.10.2016 and 06.10.2016 within the period stipulated by this Court.

Additional Government Pleader COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to waive the loan amount availed under AJL Nos. 581 & 674 by the petitioners by extending the benefit as per G.O. (MS).50 dated 23.05.2016 and G.O.(MS) No. 59 Co-operation food and consumer protection (CC1) department dated 28.06.2016 based on the petitioners' representations dated 03.10.2016 and 06.10.2016 within the period stipulated by this Court.

respondents. By consent, the Writ Petitions itself are taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 3.The petitioners availed agricultural loan of Rs.2,80,000/- and Rs.3,00,000/- respectively by pledging jewels. After deducting membership and other charges, the petitioners were paid Rs.2,43,700/- and Rs.2,66,500/- respectively. Claiming the benefits as provided under G.O.(MS).50 dated 23.05.2016 and G.O. (MS) No. 59 Co-operation food and consumer protection (CC1) department dated 28.06.2016, the petitioners submitted representations dated 03.10.2016 and 06.10.2016 to the respondents. As the representations were not considered so far, these Writ Petitions have been filed.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that the representations are only in the month of October, 2016 and if sufficient time is granted, the respondents will consider the same and pass orders. 5.In view of the submission made, the respondents are directed to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 03.10.2016 and 06.10.2016 and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.The Writ petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
