ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents. 2.By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The petitioner claims to be the wife of one Ponnumuthan, an Ex-service man, died on 28.04.2016, leaving behind the petitioner, two sons and two daughters and the petitioner made an application before the second respondent to issue a Legal Heir Certificate on 17.10.2016. So far, the second respondent has not passed any order. Hence, the petitioner has filed the Writ Petition.

4.In the above circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application, dated 17.10.2016, and pass appropriate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
