Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the impugned order of the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.C4/12452/2014, dated 18.06.2016 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents 1, 2 and 4 to assign the land in Survey No.262, Sub divided into New Survey No.285 (Part) as more than 221 acres in Mangulam Village, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District which is essential for high school building to be allotted to the welfare of the students.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] The petitioner has come up with this Public Interest Petition seeking to quash the proceeding of the first respondent in Na.Ka.C4/12452/2014, dated 18.06.2016 and to direct the respondents to construct the school building in Survey No.262, (New Survey No.285) in Mangulam Village, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that near the existing school building, a Government land had been assigned for the purpose of constructing additional building for the school and subsequently, tender was called for, the contract was awarded and the construction has already been commenced. The said statement is recorded.

3.In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. This Writ Petition is, therefore, dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
