India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to ensure that the road connecting Nathamadipatti to Ponmalaipatti which is situated in S.F.Nos. 238/2, 237/2B, and 241/2 at Thiruverumbur Taluk, Trichy District, remains open for public use without any obstruction, in the light of their representations dated 03.03.2025 and 17.03.2025.

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The writ petition has been filed based on presumptions and assumptions.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the authorities are orally saying that they are going to block the connecting road from Nathamadipatti to Ponmalaipatti.

3.Mere apprehension would be insufficient to entertain a writ petition. As on today, it remains open for public usage. That being the fact, the petitioner has not established any cause for entertaining the writ 2/4

petition and it is only an apprehension.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
