ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner's club namely, '4 Star Friends Recreation Club' to open and run in its registered premises in S.No.1956/2 in D.No.51, Trichy Road, Theppachi Amman Kovil Street, Anna Nagar, Dindigul and consequently, forbear the respondents and its subordinate officials from interfering with the day-today activities of the petitioner's club without following the due process of law, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2022.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner made an application to grant permission to open the club namely, '4 Star Friends Recreation Club' and the said application was not considered till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the representation was given in the year 2022, however, the same situation does not continue for two years. He further submits that it would suffice if this Court permits the petitioner to make a fresh application to the third respondent and 2/4
direct the third respondent to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in terms of the circular issued by the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, dated 22.01.2022.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents Police submits that the this Court may direct the petitioner to make a fresh application before the third respondent and the same will be considered.
5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to make a fresh application before the third respondent and on such application being made, the third respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders following the circular issued by the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, dated 22.01.2022, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
