Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records connected with the detention order passed in M.H.S.Confdl.No.84 of 2021, dated 21.07.2021 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu or body of the detenu namely Murugan alias Peimurugan, aged about 30 years, S/o.Kumaraiah, now detained at the Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

Today when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as per G.O.Rt.No.4428, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 27.09.2021, the detention order has been revoked.

2. In view of the same, nothing survives in this Habeas Corpus Petition and therefore this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
