5.T.K.Rajamanickam ... Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Order 47 Rule 1 & 2 r/w Section 114 of C.P.C., praying to review the order dated 04.07.2022 passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.14262 of 2017 and allow the Review Application. For Petitioner : Mr.Ajmal Khan Senior Counsel for M/s.Ajmal Associates
ORDER
Heard the learned senior counsel appearing for the review applicant.
2. The learned senior counsel would point out that the petitioner in W.P.(MD)No.14262 of 2017 had passed away and steps were not taken to substitute the deceased writ petitioner. However, while passing a common order disposing of the batch of the writ petitions, this aspect was not taken note of and the said writ petitions had already been disposed of on merits.

3. A petition for review will be entertained only at the instance of a person considering himself aggrieved by the order under review. I had not allowed W.P.(MD)No.14262 of 2017. In fact, I had specifically held that I am not in a position to grant the relief sought for in W.P.(MD)No. 14262 of 2017. Therefore, the petitioner cannot consider himself aggrieved. In fact, the said writ petition was not taken up independently. It was considered along with 11 other writ petitions. Therefore, the omission to notice the demise of the petitioner in W.P.(MD)No.14262 of 2017 will not make any difference to the eventual outcome.
4. I am therefore of the view that there is no need to entertain this review application. Since the issued raised by the review applicant has been clarified, there is no need to take up the review application on merits. The review application is dismissed. No costs. 08.08.2022 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No rmi G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.
