ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the 1st respondent to dispose the revision petition dated 28.08.2012, filed against the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Office, Madurai, in Appeal No.18 of 2010, dated 15.05.2012 within the stipulated period fixed by this Court. 2.Since no adverse order is going to be passed, notice to the respondents 2 and 3 is dispensed with.

3.According to the petitioner, he is said to have filed a revision petition, dated 28.08.2012, before the first respondent/ District Revenue Officer, Theni District, against the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Revenue Court, Madurai in Appeal No.18/2010, dated 15.05.2012. Thereafter, the first respondent has also sent a reply on 18.06.2014 stating that his revision petition is already registered and the same is pending. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Since no order has been passed in the revision petition, the petitioner has filed this revision petition.

4. Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondents, who would submit that the petitioner's revision petition would be disposed of within a time frame.

5.Considering the fact that the petitioner's revision petition is pending from 28.08.2012, the first respondent/District Revenue Officer, Theni District, is directed to pass orders on the pending revision petition, dated 28.08.2012, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the respondents 2 and 3, on merits and in accordance with Law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
