ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to grant patta in respect of petitioner's land in Old Sy.No.1/1A1B1A1A2A1A1A1A, New Sy.No.116, situated at Sekkalai, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the representation dated 15.04.2016. 2.

According to the petitioner, he said to have filed an application before the second respondent/Tahsildar, Karaikudi Taluk on 15.04.2016 for issuance of patta. Sofar no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the petitioner's application/representation will be considered within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In the above circumstances, since the application is pending from 15.04.2016, the second respondent/Tahsildar, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District, is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, and pass orders, after issuing notice to the rival claimants, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
