ORDER

The petitioner has approached this court with a grievance that the respondent police have not conducted investigation on his complaint. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submits that since it is a matrimonial dispute, they have referred the complaint to the social welfare officer and based on the report of the social welfare office, further course of action would be taken. 3.Recording the above submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the District Social Welfare Officer concerned for enquiry. The respondent police shall take a decision on merits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
