ORDER

This Writ of Mandamus has been filed, seeking for a direction to the respondent, to transfer the Electricity Connection Nos.511010-167 511-010-168, and 511-010-169, relating to the building bearing Door Nos.63 and 63A, Ponnampalam Street, Bodinayakkanur Town, from the name of Elizabeth to the name of the petitioner, by disposing his representation dated 22.09.2016. 2.The petitioner has purchased the buildings in Door Nos.63 and 63A in the abovesaid address and pursuant to the purchase, he has requested for change of electricity connection in his name. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite all details having been furnished and after submission of all the relevant documents, no order has been passed by the respondent on his representation dated 22.09.2016 seeking electricity connection in respect of the abovesaid property in his name.

3.The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the request of the petitioner for electricity connection would be considered, by disposing of the representation of the petitioner dated 22.09.2016.

4.Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.09.2016 and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
