O R D E R

This Writ of Mandamus has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to disburse the arrears towards the petitioner's family pension from 01.06.2013 to 31.10.2013 on the death of the petitioner's husband namely late Shri. A.Soosai. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

attaining superannuation, pension was granted from 01.09.2001 to till his death on 28.05.2013. After intimation with regard to the death of the petitioner's husband, family pension was granted to the petitioner with effect from 02.12.2013. However, the respondents have not sanctioned family pension to the petitioner from 01.06.2013 to 31.10.2013. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted the representations dated 08.06.2016 and 12.07.2016 to the respondents. As the same have not been considered so far, this Writ Petition has been filed.

4.It is agreeable for the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.07.2016 and to grant family pension within a period of two months. 5.Accordingly, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.07.2016 and to disburse family pension to the petitioner from 01.06.2013 to 31.10.2013. 6.The Writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
