ORDER

The present petition has filed by the petitioners under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, seeking for a direction to quash the FIR in Crime No.25 of 2018 of S.V.Mangalam Police Station, Sivagangai District.

2.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that on the date of passing of an interim order of stay by this Court (i.e. on 03.12.2020) a final report was filed by the first respondent police before Judicial Magistrate Court, Singampuneri, and that the Magistrate also took https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13956 of 2020 cognizance of the offence on the same date in C.C.No.82 of 2020. His specific contention is that nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter.

3.Recording the said submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (criminal side), the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
