This petition has been filed, seeking to call for the records relating to the impugned order dated 3.11.2016 issued by the Respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the Respondent to grant permission to conduct meeting from 6.00 pm to 10.00 pm at the venue of near Anna Bus Stand Semmankudi Road Nagercoil on 11.11.2016.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the relief sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous, as the meeting, for which permission was sought was over on 11.11.2016 itself.

3. In view of the above submission, this petition is closed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected wmp is closed.
