COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to appoint the petitioners, by considering their individual representations dated 23.9.2016 and 24.09.2016 in WP.Nos.21602 and 21607/16 in the light of the proceedings of the 1st respondent in procds. No.R3/10575/2016(2) dated 18.6.2016.

2.In the proceedings dated 18.06.2016, the Managing Director, TASMAC, Chennai, has given instructions regarding re-deployment of employees. It is the case of the petitioners that they were appointed as TASMAC Supervisors by the 1st respondent. The State Government passed an order, reducing the number of TASMAC retail vending liquor shops and closed 500 shops, out of which, 43 shops in Sivagangai District, in which the petitioners were working as Supervisors, were also closed.

3.It is the grievance of the petitioners that the 2nd respondent without following the guidelines with regard to seniority, has allotted employment to the persons, who have no seniority.

Therefore, the petitioners made individual representations dated 23.09.2016 and 24.09.2016 in WP.Nos.21602 and 21607/16 and that the same were not considered. Hence, these writ petitions.

4.The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that it is agreeable for the 2nd respondent to consider the individual representations of the petitioners dated 23.09.2016 and 24.09.2016 in WP.Nos.21602 and 21607/16 and to pass orders.

5.Recording the above submission, these Writ Petitions are disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the individual representations of the petitioners dated 23.09.2016 and 24.09.2016 in WP.Nos.21602 and 21607/16 and to pass appropriate orders, on

merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
