Heard the learned Counsel appearing on either side. 2.The petitioner states that the General Body meeting of the petition mentioned Sangam should not be convened, which is proposed to be convened on 06.12.2020, in view of the prevalence of the Pandemic.
3.Since the date for convening the General Body meeting has already been crossed, this Writ Petition has become infructuous. In any event, the Society will not come within the meaning of "State instrumentalities" under Article 12 of Constitution of India. The petitioner has to ventilate his grievance elsewhere and not by filing a Writ Petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
