Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records pertaining to Go.Ms.No.171, Public works (W1) Department Dated 11.08.2017 on the file of the respondent No.1 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondent 1 to 5 to permit the petitioner association to execute the Kudimaramathu works pertaining to the Ellumpallam Kanmai in S.No.949 Manavanur Village, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District by following the procedure established under Tamil Nadu Farmers Management of Irrigation systems Act 2000. O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that the direction given by this Court on 21.09.2020 in W.P.(MD)No.10688 of 2020 for constituting the Managing Committee under Section 5 of Tamil Nadu Farmers' Management of Irrigation Systems Act 2000 has not been complied with.

2. The learned Government Advocate informs today that the election will be held on 18.11.2021 and on the same date, results will be announced and formal constitution will be done shortly, thereafter.

3. Recording the said submission, this contempt petition is closed.
