ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the third respondent to include the petitioner's name in the patta No.44 in respect of the land situated in in Survey No. 118/15, 118/16, 118/7B, 118/9, 120/19C, 113/1D, 87/2B, 101/7, 101/8A, 104/10A, and 104/10C and to include the petitioners name in Patta No. 134 in respect of lands in Survey Nos. 105/9A, 117/4A situated at M.Karisalkulam Village, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by considering his representation dated 24.01.2025.
2. According to the petitioner, the subject properties are ancestral properties and in the UDR patta for the subject properties in patta No.44
and 134, the petitioner's name has not been included. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the third respondent on 24.01.2025, seeking inclusion of his name in the UDR. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come up before this Court.
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the competent authority to consider the representation of the petitioner is the second respondent and his representation would be considered in accordance wit law.
4. In view of the same without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to forward the representation of the petitioner dated 24.01.2025 to the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The second respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits within a further period of 12 weeks after issuing notice to the petitioner, the existing pattathars and other interested parties.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
