ORDER
The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the Tamil Nadu Power Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation 1st respondent herein to deposit the sanctioned amount of Rs.75,000/- (seventy five thousand only) by the Chief Educational Officer of Virudhunagar the 2nd respondent herein vide its proceeding in R.C.No.5063/A4/2017 dated 30.06.2017 within the stipulated period fixed by this Court.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents. By 1/3
consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.The petitioner submitted that since her husband died in harness, as per the scheme formulated by the State Government, her daughter is eligible for financial assistance rendered by the State Government for her education. Accordingly, the 2nd respondent sanctioned a sum of Rs.75,000/- to the petitioner. However, since the said amount has not been disbursed so far, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned Government Advocate that when the petitioner has been informed to come and collect a sum of Rs.75,000/- from the first respondent, the petitioner did not turn up to collect the said amount. Without doing so, she is before this Court by filing the present writ petition.
5.In view of the said submission, without going into the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to approach the authorities concerned to collect the sum of Rs.75,000/- (Rupees seventy five thousand only), which is to be paid by way of bond. The petitioner is expected to produce necessary documents to show that the petitioner is entitled to the said amount. Such exercise shall be completed by the respondents within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
