PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent not to 1/4

grant fire Crackers shop licence to the respondents No.4 and 5 herein in respect of the land in Survey No. 248/B-1 situated at Aamathur Village, Virudhunagar, District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 07.05.2025 and for other reliefs.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent not to grant fire Crackers shop licence to the respondents No.4 and 5.

2. The Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submitted that, based on the petitioner's representation dated 07.05.2025, notice was issued to the petitioner as well as to respondents 4 and 5, and the same is pending enquiry.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, the 2nd respondent is directed to complete the enquiry and pass appropriate orders, after affording sufficient opportunity to the petitioner and respondents 4 and 5, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
