Mr.N.Dilip Kumar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents.
2. The writ petition is disposed of at the time of admission as no adversed orders are proposed to be passed at this stage.
3. The petitioner has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondent to furnish the copy of the answer sheets to the petitioner with respect to the Examination of Theory Paper - I and II and the Practical examination (Examination Roll No. 11800417) conducted in the month of December 2018.
4. The Member Secretary (AICTE), All India Council for Technical Education, Nelson Mandela Marg, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi 110 070 is suo motu impleaded as the second respondent. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the cause title.

5. The case of the petitioner is that she was working as a Junior Engineer in Rajapalayam Municipality on the basis of a diploma qualification obtained prior to her appointment. It is the further case of the petitioner that she had completed her B.E., Civil Engineering from Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation through distance education which was subject matter of dispute before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. The Hon'ble Supreme Court by its order, dated 22.01.2018 in Civil Appeal Nos.17869-17870 of 2017 had held that such qualifications cannot be recognized. However, to offset the inconvenience to those who pursued their courses before the said dates and those who were employed, an opportunity was given to such candidate to appear in the qualifying examinations before the UGC/AICTE. The petitioner appeared for the examination in the Month of December 2018. However, according to the petitioner, marks secured by her in the examinations have not been uploaded and therefore, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 14.11.2024.

Perhaps the intention of the petitioner is to take advantage of certain decisions of this court wherein candidates who had secured borderline marks were rounded off for recognising their degree secured from the deemed universities. Therefore, I see no impediment in directing the second respondent to consider the representation, dated 14.11.2024 of the petitioner and to furnish 3/5
the marks secured by the petitioner in the qualifying examination held during December 2018.
7. Accordingly, the second respondent is directed to furnish the marks to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
