ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble N.Sathish Kumar J.) Alleging disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P(MD)No.16178 of 2020 dated 23.07.2025, this contempt petition is filed. This Court while dismissing the writ petition, has passed the following order:

''2. The Omnibus prayer as such sought for cannot be granted. In the event of a specific complaint regarding an ineligible or fraudulent certificate/degree, then the above authorities will be in a position to initiate appropriate action. The petitioner is at liberty to submit a specific complaint for initiation of the action, if required.

3. With the above liberty, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.''

2. It is the contention of the petitioner that pursuant to the abovesaid order, he made a representation dated 23.02.2026 to the respondents seeking action against 11 Engineers who obtained Bachelor degree of Engineering through distance education and got departmental promotion. The said representation is not considered. Hence, this contempt petition.

3. Merely because the petitioner has made representation pursuant to the liberty granted by this Court and that has not been considered, it will not constitute any act of contempt. It is for the authorities to look into the petitioner's representation and enquire into the same as per law. Hence, we do not find any merits in this contempt petition.

4. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is dismissed. (N.SATHISH KUMAR J.) (M.JOTHIRAMAN J.) 24-06-2026 bala
