ORDER

The above Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the wife seeking transfer of H.M.O.P.No.69 of 2019 filed by her husband for divorce before Sub Court, Kovilpatti, Thoothukudi District, to the file of the Sub Court, Ramanathapuram. 2.The ground on which the above petition is filed is that the travel would cause great deal of inconvenience to the petitioner/wife.

The proceeding is before the Sub Court, Kovilpatti, where the presence of the parties for every hearing is not required unlike in the case of Family Court. Therefore, I do not find any substance in the petition for transfer. 3.In view of the above, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. However, it is made clear that the respondent/husband shall conclude the cross-examination of the petitioner/wife on the very same date that she enters the witness box for giving her chief-examination. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
