This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to pay the petitioner, balance 25% pension arrears payable to the deceased husband of the petitioner for the period from April 2020 to November 2020 with interest at 6% per annum.
2.Heard Mr.A.Rahul, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Balasubramanian, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. 3.Though the Writ Petition is filed to issue positive direction to the respondents, the learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, 04.07.2021, and dispose of the same within a reasonable https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4.Having regard to the limited scope of prayer that is now sought before this Court by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation or the case pleaded before this Court in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition, the third respondent directed to consider the representation, dated 04.07.2021, and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
