ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The case of the writ petitioner is that the petition mentioned property has been acquired behind his back and he wants corrections to be made. According to him, the property has to be shown only as his patta property. In this regard, he has given a representation and enquiry is said to have commenced. Seeking completion of the said enquiry, this writ petition has been filed.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that as early as on 26.11.1998, an award was passed and the property had been acquired under Tamil Nadu Act 31 of 1978. It is further sated that the property had been parcelled and assignments had been made in favour of landless poor. If that be so, nothing stopped the respondents from informing the petitioner about the same. The third respondent is directed to intimate the petitioner about the status of his representation. 2/4
