PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to dispose the appeal petition of the petitioner sent the same along with others dated 29.07.2019 after giving opportunity of hearing to all necessary parties.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction, to direct the respondent to dispose the appeal petition of the petitioner sent the same along with others dated 29.07.2019 after giving opportunity of hearing to all necessary parties.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a one of the Worshiper (Thalaikattuthar) of the temple, namely, Mudukkankulam Vannimaram Sangaiah Kovil situated at Mudukkankulam Village, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District. Due to some personal dispute between the devotees, they have initiated the proceedings. Therefore, the Tahsildar, Kariyapatti Taluk conducted peace committee meeting on 21.11.2015 and closed the temple. Therefore, the petitioner and others (Thalaikattuthars) made an appeal against the proceedings dated 21.11.2015 before the respondent. Till then, no order has been passed, hence this writ petition.

W.P.(MD)No.17423 of 2019 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent produced a copy of the proceeding in Na.ka.A2/5129/2019, dated 27.09.2019. He also submitted that the peace committee meeting was conducted and also the decisions were taken before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Aruppukottai.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on records.

4. In view of the subsequent development, nothing survives for further adjudication. This Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
