This petition has been filed seeking quashment of FIR in Crime No.27 of 2019 pending on the file of the respondent police. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that enquiry was undertaken on the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant / second respondent. During the course of enquiry, the defacto complainant / second respondent himself has given a statement to the effect that no further action is required on the complaint given by her. In view of the same, the complaint has been closed and Action Drop Report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Special Court for Land Grabbing Cases, Tuticorin on 25.01.2021 itself. CRL OP (MD) No.14188 of 2021 3.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), nothing survives in this petition for further consideration and direction and the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

4.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
