The Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the first and second respondents to issue a duplicate S.S.L.C. Mark
statement in reference to a serial No.MAT0313943, bearing Registration No.805473 of petitioner, in view of recommendation of third respondent in Na.Ka.No.227/A1/2015, dated 12.10.2015.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. According to the petitioner, he completed S.S.L.C. during the year 2010 and he completed +2 and thereafter, he also completed his B.Sc., during the year 2015. Subsequently, the petitioner lost his S.S.L.C mark sheet and hence, he submitted a representation to the fourth respondent to issue a duplicate mark sheet and also paid necessary fees for the same. The Tahsildar, Siruvaikundam also issued a certificate dated 09.09.2015, stating that the misplaced certificate is remained non-traceable. Based on the certificate, the third respondent forwarded the same to the second respondent recommending for issuance of duplicate mark sheet and so far no no mark sheet has been issued. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

In the above circumstances, the second respondent is directed to consider the recommendation of the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.227/A1/2015, dated 12.10.2015, for issuance of duplicate mark sheet and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
