This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct Adal Padal on 17.08.2019 from 7.00PM onwards of Arulmigu Sree Perumal Swami Thirukovil, Adaiyal Village, Mudaloor Post, Thoothukudi District and give adequate police protection in connection with Aadi festival.

The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the Cultural Programme viz., Adal Padal on 17.08.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 02.08.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.08.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith, by imposing necessary conditions.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
