ORDER
The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner with regard to the lands in Survey Nos.462/A, 463/1A, 464/A and 467/A1 to an extent of 90 cents, situated at Illuppaiurani Village, Kovilpatti Taluk, Thoothukudi District, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 20.06.2019.
2.Heard Mr.G.Gomathi Sankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.The petitioner, in order to get patta for the land in Survey Nos.462/A, 463/1A, 464/A and 467/A1 to an extent of 90 cents, situated at Illuppaiurani Village, Kovilpatti Taluk, Thoothukudi District, made a representation on 20.06.2019 to the respondents, especially, the second respondent. W.P.(MD)No.17575 of 2019 appearing for the petitioner would submit that, if the said representation is decided by the respondent, especially, the second respondent on merits, the petitioner would be satisfied. 5.I have heard Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2019 would be decided by the second respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, after conducting an enquiry with regard to the entitlement of the petitioner to seek patta for the said land.
6.Having regard to the submissions made by both sides, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following directions:- "that the second respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2019, after conducting enquiry regarding the entitlement of the petitioner to seek patta for the said land, pass necessary order thereon, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. "
7.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
