ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. According to the petitioner, her grandfather by name Muthusamy died during the year 1986 and thereafter, the second respondent/Tahsildar issued legal heir certificate, wherein the petitioner's father, namely, Rasu was shown as unmarried. Hence, the petitioner filed an application to the first respondent to correct the above mistake in the legal heir certificate and based on that the first respondent has also directed the second respondent to file a report on the petitioner's application. Even though the said application was filed on 11.08.2016, no order has been passed till date. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

4. In the above circumstances, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application, dated 11.08.2016 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to all the parties concerned.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
